Many know us from our years in the Antique Auction Business and we thank our loyal friends and followers for their good wishes, referrals and enthusiasm.

Since retiring from the Auction Business, we have put our knowledge of the many facets of the business to work to help you assess & organize your situation, and to present you with your best options.

These options include: Written formal Estate and Insurance Appraisal Documents; Estate Consutations; Estate Sales and referrals; On-site Auctions and auction referrals; Buy-outs/ Clean-outs.

***A quick note about Appraisals: There is much confusion (a la Road Show) about appraisals. There is a world of difference between an "offer to buy" and a formal Appraisal. We can do either, but it is an ETHICAL conflict to do BOTH. People are sometimes confused by the entire process and will call us asking for an appraisal when they actually just want a purchase offer. WE are happy to discuss your specific situation and offer you some insight.

CREDENTIALS & QUALIFICATIONS:

 Co-President: Acorn Auctions and Estates established in 1991. Responsible for all facets of the business specializing in antiques and collections and including research, development of advertising and promotions, client and customer relations, final settlements and bookkeeping.

 Serves as Appraiser and Appraising Consultant for Banks, Attorneys, Estates, CPAs, Homeowners and Insurance companies.

 Responsible for processing entire contents of Estates as well as ranking value for proper disposal.

 Have gained knowledge through successful research and promotion of specialty sales in many categories including Antique Furniture, Ceramics, Glass, Textiles, Jewelry, Toys, Dolls, Ephemera & Historical Documents, Militaria, Jewelry, General Household Contents, etc.

 Discovered a neglected treasure trove of important Colonial-era historical documents surrounding the life of French and Indian War hero General John Bradstreet. Developed research to establish the provenance, family tree. Gained national attention and audience for this exciting and successful Auction event.
