16" Tiffany acorn lamp with a greek urn base. This is a great example of an early Tiffany Studios acorn. This early design pattern is unique as to the vine band and the slope of the shade. The shade has a 5" beaded top ring, found only on early oil lamps. The background is a translucent silver-yellow with surface haze. The acorns are a forest green and yellow mix with the same light density and haze, as it should be. The shade is in excellent condition with two hairline cracks. The patina is black and correct as to Tiffany's first shades.
The greek urn base is in very good condition with a nice verdi gras patina. The base has been electrified through the duplex burner with the on/off switch being the original burner turn knob. This lamp is an excellent example of a historically correct Tiffany lamp.
