Very rare early Charles Limbert large arm chair with sling seat. Shown in the catalogue of his early works, unsigned, original finish showing some wear commensurate with age, a brace appears to be added to the underside on the inside of the front legs at some time, though chair is not loose at this time, as shown in the images. The arms and side seat rails pierce the front legs with a keyed round thru-tenon. Displayed on one of our quality Arts and Crafts hand tied contemporary New Zealand wool rugs, certified made free of child labor.
