For Sale is a very Lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The item is a Cabinet Vase. It is done in Tiffany's highly sought after "Heart & Vine" Decoration. The Vase is a nice cabinet size as it stands 2 3/8" tall and has a diameter of approximately 3 3/8" at it widest point. The foot has a diameter of 1 3/4".

The Vase displays a very nice Round Shape that resembles a "Globe" with an open top. This is somewhat a Rare Form to find with this Pattern Decor! The Base glass is a clear glass that has a Gold Favrile Iridescent Finish applied forming the background color. It is then accented with Green Heart Shape Leaves with Trailing Vines running to and from one another. These Vines seem to connect to each other throughout the Vase as you turn it.

The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is minor wear on the on the underside foot. This is common and typical of its age. There are a few inclusions on the bottom side in the Glass. These are sand Particles that did not liquidfy during the heating process and are part of the charm with a Hand Blown piece. These are on the bottom and cannot be seen when displayed. The Vase is properly signed in a counter clockwise fashion. It is the etched Script Signature mark which reads "L.C. Tiffany-Favrile" as well as the Suffix Number "9807D". This Suffix letter "D" means this piece was made in the year 1909. This is considered somewhat early in the Favrile Glass production as it is made in the first 20 years of production.

This is a quality piece of Art glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This is a very nice example of this form and color and Decoration. It is amazing that this Vase has survived over 102 years without getting any kind of damage. Those of you who collect the Gold Favrile, Aurene Vases will surely welcome this fine addition. I'm sure the lucky Buyer will be delighted with their purchase.
