For Sale is a lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios of New York, New York. The Item is a "Blue Favrile Tre-Foil" Bud Vase. The Vase stands 4" tall and is 3 1/8" in diameter.

The Bud Vase displays an outstanding Blue Favrile Iridescence that is outright georgeous. It is platinum blue at the top and a wonderful brilliant Peacock Blue at the bottom. The Vase is somewhat European in Style. It has a Bulbous bottom with an extended neck with a 3 lobed top lip. Normally Tiffany tops of their cabinet vases are round but not this one. It has what we call a Tre-Foil or having a 3 lobed shape. This is considered somewhat a Rare shape with Tiffany Favrile Vases. This piece of Art Glass is very solid and well made by the weight it carries. It doesn't surprise me that it has survived over 90 years without any damage.

The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The vase has a wafer or button bottom pontil. It is properly signed with Tiffany Counter clockwise signature mark that reads "1119-1093M L.C. Tiffany Favrile". I believe the 1119 is the form number for the Vase and the Suffix Letter "M" following the number 1093 means it was made in 1918.

This is a beautiful cabinet Vase and I'm quite sure the buyer will be very pleased with their purchase.
