Weller

Sold

For Sale is a nice piece of Art Pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern Line is called "Patricia" and it is a double handled Vase. The Vase is a nice cabinet size as it stands 4" tall and is 6 1/8" wide outside handle measurement.

The Piece displays a very Nice Semi-Gloss Matte White Glaze and is in the Shape of a Squat vase with 2 handles. There are 2 applied Duck Heads for use as mock handles and the vase has embossed leaves surrounding the vessel. The Vase has a very Nice Semi-Gloss Matte White Glaze.

The Vase is considered to be in Excellent condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. There are a few pin pops in the glaze and is quite common for this glaze. This piece is unsigned however, I will guaranteed this to be made by The Weller Pottery Company. It is a well documented form in the Weller Patrician cataloged line. It more than likely had a paper label at one time and was washed off.

This Vase is an excellent example both in form and in Glaze combination. This Style of Art Pottery would look great in any Arts and Crafts, Mission or Country Decor. The Vase is from Weller's Late Period. The art pottery vase was made, Circa 1935-1948.
