Phoenix

$135.00

For sale is a beautiful perfume bottle made by Phoenix Art Glass. The perfume and stopper measures approximately 6 1/8" tall and is 2 3/4" wide at the shoulder of the bottle. The bottom of the bottle measures approximately 1 1/4" wide.

The perfume bottle depicts a beautiful root beer brown color encased in a heavy clear glass that is known as a paperweight technique. The top stopper also has the rootbeer trapped in the center of the glass and reminds me of quality cased crystal. Both the bottle and the stopper have vertical ribbing. The ribbing softens above the shoulder of the bottle and the tip of the stopper. The top of the stopper is so thin and delicate it is amazing there is no damage! This one is taller than normal.

The perfume is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings including the stopper. The vase is signed with an engraved signature that reads "Carl Radke '10 " which means it was made in 2010. This is a quality piece of contemporary American art glass and I am sure even the collector of early art glass not be disappointed with their purchase.
