Stickley Brothers Inlaid Two Door Cabinet / Cellarette | To continue browsing this category from where you left off, please use your back buttonPlease scroll to see additional photos Sold Very rare and exquisite signed Stickley Brothers cabinet We are thinking that this must have been a custom order as we can find no reference in the literature and the several authoritative people we have talked to never have encountered the like. Additionally, we were able to find this piece in a fraternal order lodge in central Vermont; and were told it was a piece used in a ceremonial event.
As with many Stickley Brothers pieces the wood selection is very good exhibiting strong ray flake. There are stylized inlays on each of the doors done in variant woods; and there are additional inlays done around the lower perimeter skirt. Superb original condition save the door pulls which are each missing a curved element at the top for finger handling to open. These missing pieces are fairly inconsequential and the rest of the stylized hardware is present. 46"H x 19"W x 11 1/4"D
