For sale is a wonderful art glass lily shade. The shade measures approximately 4 3/4" tall and the mouth or flower opening of the shade is 3 3/4" in diameter outside measurement. The fitter end measures 1" in diameter. This shade will fit into any standard 1 1/4" snap lily fitter cup. These are the same size as a Tiffany Favrile original shade.

This shade displays a Calla Lily shape. It has a split flower end where the flower petal is folded back on each side giving it a life like appearance. This shade has a beautiful brilliant blue iridescent with ribbing. There is raised vertical ribbing on the outside and inside. This shade is an outstanding example of this form and would be a welcome addition to one who collects art glass lighting shades. This shade can be used as a replacement on any lily lamp that has blue lily shades. You can mix this with the regular trumpet and looks especially good on a 2 light lily frame.

Here is your chance to purchase a lily shade for a lot less than 1 Tiffany original. The shade is near perfect as there are no cracks, chips, or dings. The top rim is polished smooth like a Tiffany original. The shade is signed on the outside neck of the lily shade and it read "Lundberg Studios '91". The blue iridescence is just outstanding! When lit they glow a beautiful two toned blue with ribbing.

Jim and Steven Lundberg were the founders of Lundberg Studios. Neither one of them is with us anymore. Jim was the first to pass away in February of 1992 when he was riding his bicycle on route 1 to check out the surf. He was an avid surfer. He very well could have blown this shade. Anything made by him is highly collectible as he was considered a modern day Tiffany glass blower. He produced some of the finest contemporary art glass of our times. The shade is now 26 years old and considered a collectible. This shade was made circa 1991 just prior to his death.
