For sale is a beautiful table lamp made by Renaissance Art Products of Lake Orion, MI . The table lamp it is known as a "Lily Lamp" and it is a nice petite size. It stands 10 1/2" tall and 7 1/4" wide with the shade mounted. The foot has a diameter of 5 1/8".

The lily lamp displays a bronze sculptured lily pad with veining base or foot. There is a stem that rises up and out of the foot and has a goose neck or question mark shape. At the end of the goose neck is a snap lily fitter that holds the art glass shade. The art glass shade is outstanding. It is a beautiful pulled green feather pattern on a calcite white body in a split calla lily shape. The outline of the feather is done in a brilliant gold Favrile, Aurene iridescence. The inside of the shade is also done in this same but muted gold iridescence. The patina on the metal is a brown or bronze color with some green accents.

The lamp base is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, dents or dings to the metal. It has an excellent patina and shows normal age wear. It has been professionally rewired with the antique style brown rayon lamp cord. It even has an inline on/off clicker switch and it works great. The base is signed on the bottom with "RAP" in capital letters. This stood for "Renaissance Art Products" and there is also and incised signature mark that reads "McCollum Ypsilanti, MI". I believe this is actually the artist that made the bottom base for Renaissance Art Products. The shade is signed "Zephyr 84'" on one of the gold outlines on the underside of the shade. The shade is in excellent condition as well with no chips or cracks.

This is a quality bronze accent lily lamp. I pretty sure this lamp was sold by Wilson's Lamp shop in Towson, MD. I knew this maker of the lamp quite well as I used to distribute his products shortly afterwards. I came across these lamps when I was selling in the Baltimore area back in the early 1980's and Wilson's had them in their showroom. They specifically competed against Buffalo Studios of Pasadena, CA from the mid to late 1970's and into the late 1980's. I picked this out of that area about 1 week earlier. This lamp was made circa 1984 based on the shade.
