Tiffany

$2,595.00

For sale is a lovely table lamp night light made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The item is known as a "The Twilight" candle lamp. The candle lamp is a nice size as it stands 14"1/8" tall to the top of the chimney. The shade has a diameter just shy of 7" at 6 15/16" at its widest point. The foot or the base has diameter of 4 3/8".

The candle lamp displays a very beautiful gold Favrile twisted candlestick base bottom. There is a green pulled feather against a translucent background candle insert that fits into the base. The interior of this insert holds oil. This insert has a gold patina candle shade holder attached to to the top with oil burner attached to the top and holds the wick. There is even an original Tiffany blown glass chimney with this model. These are extremely hard to find as they are usually missing. To finish this candle lamp is a wonderful gold onion skin candle shade. The gold iridescence is simply beautiful and you can see brilliant gold's, strong fuchsias and some platinum blues.

This candlestick lamp is considered to be in excellent condition. The are NO cracks, nicks, chips or dings to either the base, shade, or insert. The chimney has an area where there is carbon in the glass. The candle base is signed "L.C.T. " and there are also some etched numbers that read "8050" in script. This number is probably the order number. The shade is signed L.C.T. on the flat polished top rim. The shade holder has "The Twilight" impressed into the area that the shade sits on and the burner has a mark that reads "The P&A MFG CO ACORN". These are the burners that Tiffany used early on in the manufacture of these type lamps. This is also one of the first original Tiffany lamps that were made.

This is a wonderful decorated candle lamp by Tiffany Studios, New York. This is also probably the most affordable of all the Tiffany lamps. If you really want a very nice example of The Twilight candle lamp you need to look no further. I am positive the buyer will be extremely pleased with their purchase. The lamp was made circa 1893-1900 as it is an original oil burning lamp with an original Tiffany blown glass chimney and it still works great!!

Each item in this lamp (3) has to be carefully wrapped and double boxed. I will use double boxing and my shipping has the insurance included.
