$95.00

For sale is a nice hand hammered vase made by an unknown maker. This vase it has some height as it stands 7 3/4" tall and has a diameter of 2 3/4". The bottom has a diameter of 2". The vase displays a cylindrical form with a flaring top lip and hand hammering. The hammered molecules are plentiful, pronounced and cover the entire vessel throughout including the flaring top lip. It has a nice original craftsman brown patina that is pretty uniform and shows minor wear.

This vase is considered to be in very good condition to excellent condition as there are no cracks or major dings to the metal. The bottom is just a little out of round. The top lip is wavy and appears to have been made this way. The vase does show signs of use when looking inside. The underside bottom shows some oxidization as you can see green, brown and gold colors. The vase is not signed on the underside bottom.

Purchase with confidence as this vase will enhance any Arts and Crafts, Mission style decor. It will look outstanding on that Stickley bookcase and will work just wonderful with that matte green art pottery collection. This vase was made circa 1920-1940.
