For sale is a lovely teacup and saucer made by Royal Sealy of Japan. The pattern displays a wonderful fruit bowl on the interior of the cup. The actual cup measures approximately 2" tall and is 3 7/8" wide at the rim of the cup. The base of the cup measures 1 13/16" wide. The saucer is 7/8" tall and is 5 1/2 in diameter.

The footed teacup has a lovely hand painted fruit bowl on the interior of the cup set on a gold background. There is a pineapple in the foreground surrounded by grapes, apples, blueberries, a pomegranate and lush foliage. The exterior of the cup is burgundy adorned with a gold trim swag along the upper rim with a flower in the upper center of the swag. The saucer is decorated to match the teacup and is burgundy with the same gold trim and swag decor. The center of the saucer is hand painted gold. The teacup and saucer are nicely trimmed with gold along the edge and handle.

The teacup and saucer are in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The pieces are signed with the "Royal Sealy China" logo with a seal inside a wreath along with "Japan" below the logo. The teacup and saucer were made circa 1950's.
