For sale is a lovely piece of opalescent crystal made by R Lalique of Wingen-sur-Moder in Alsace-Lorraine, France. This wonderful piece of R Lalique art glass is known as "Druide" or 'Gui de ChĂȘne' opalescent vase. This vase has some size as it stands 7" tall and is 7 1/4" in diameter at its widest measurement.

This vase displays a wonderful orb shape with a raised relief pattern of Mistletoe or Winter berry clusters along their stems. This is set against an opalescent background glass with blue staining throughout. The detail is sharp and crisp. This is R Lalique's famed opalescent glass that gives that distinct cool blue tone. This is a large but not over powering vase.

This wonderful vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips or dings. Other than some minor scratches on the underside bottom it has no excuses to be made. It is signed on the bottom with the etched "R. Lalique France" cipher mark along with the model number "96:937". This piece has substantial weight for its size as it weighs 2 lbs 12 ounces before boxing. This piece was made circa 1924.
