For Sale is a wonderful piece of Art Pottery made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. The item is an Arts & Crafts Three Handled "Bullet" Vase. The vase is a nice size as it measures 6 3/4" tall and is approximately 5" in diameter.
The Vase is done in one of Fulper Pottery's most beautiful multi colored glazes. I would say that you have a Flemington Green Flambe' over Famille Rose with added Blues and Purples. The Vase is a classic ovoid shape with three evenly spaced handles at the top. The Glaze runs on this vase are absolutely beautiful.
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is a small hole in the clay on the bottom underside ring. This is not damage as it was made this way and considered Factory. The Vase is marked on the underside bottom with Fulper's Racetrack Ink Stamp Signature mark. This would date this Vase to be made Circa 1922-1928. It is known as shape number 530 in the Fulper Catalog Pages and was simply called a "Vase" according to the book on Fulper by Hibel-Defalco-Rago.
This is a wonderful example of this Form and Glaze from Fulper. I'm sure the Buyer will be quite pleased with their purchase. This would look outstanding on that Stickley, Mission, Arts and Crafts style Bookcase.
