Fulper

Sold

For Sale is a wonderful piece of Art Pottery made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. The item is a tall vase. The Vase has some size to it as it stands 9" tall and is approximately 3" in diameter.

The Vase depicts a wonderful example of Elephants Breath blending from deep brown to gray in a Flambe or drip from the top rim. This is Dark Brown Flambe is applied over a semi gloss gray/brown background glaze The Vase has a very Arts and Crafts appeal as it has 7 sides to it. This is a wonderful form and would look wonderful in any Arts and Crafts or Mission style setting.

The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The Vase is signed on the bottom with the ink stamp rectangle Fulper mark and dates it to their earliest time frame. This vase is known as shape number 445 in the early Fulper Catalog Pages.

This rectangular ink stamp mark dates this vase to have been made during the Vasekraft years, circa 1909-1916.
