For sale is a very lovely piece of art glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The item is the highly collected and very desirable "Floriform" or Flower Form flower vase". This vase is done in Tiffany's highly sought after Gold Favrile style of art glass. The vase would be considered a nice cabinet size as it stands 6" tall and the top or flower part of the vase is 2 5/8" in diameter outside measurement.

This Floriform has a trumpet shaped flower at the top with a smooth textured body that rises up from a stem off of a circular foot. The gold Favrile, Aurene iridescence is just outstanding!! You can see very strong Fuchsia's along the top underside neck. When looking at this area it appears to be on fire!! The top of the bottom foot is accented with platinum blues on gold as well as the rest of the vase both inside and out.

The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece shows minimal wear and it is my belief that it sat in a Cabinet most of its life. When looking inside you can see minor mineral deposits on the lowest section of the inside body so you know that it was used. This vase is signed on the bottom with Tiffany's Etched Signature that reads, "1764 L.C.T. Favrile" written in script. As an added bonus it still retains its original tiny round Tiffany Favrile Glass green and gold label.

This is one of the most delicate gold cabinet Floriforms I have had the pleasure of owning. The vase is so light and delicate it is simply amazing that it has survived over 100 years in this condition. It is almost as good as the day it was made. I'm sure the buyer will cherish this wonderful piece of art glass in their collection for many years. This vase was made circa 1905-1920.
